Well I have definitely figured out the real reason for my corrupt photos. Apparently the remote control receiver that I had hooked up for my Windows Media Center was causing some kind of conflict whenever I transferred pictures through any type of USB port (including my card reader). It sucks because my old hard drive is gone, so I have to live with all the damaged photos. But at least I've discovered a way to prevent this in the future. I wanted to mention again how much I appreciated everyone's effort in helping me and trying to come up with a solution. Too bad this problem was something that no one could have really guessed

. And if you have an HP computer with a remote, DO NOT USE IT!
Another topic that has been bugging me lately is my very bad luck when it comes to weather. It is extremely frustrating to be at work and see these incredibly beautiful skies out the window that I'm not able to photograph. Then when I have a day off, it's either totally clear skies or dreary overcast nothingness. Oh well, I'm gonna promise myself AND my watchers that I'll have some good pictures very soon!!
